James Dooley: Get your tips out. Reviews.

James Dooley: So, as a business, they've been trading for over 17 years and a little bit stupid on naive from us all really that we've not been collecting the testimonials and reviews from all the winners throughout the years of what we've had. Um, today I'm joined with Joe Norris who's actually now an author of a book um, The Day in the Life, the Day in the Life of a Sports Betting Tipster. So Joe, with regards to reviews and testimonials, I want to just kick off with a question of how difficult is it to try to get these five-star ratings in comparison to people jumping on and the Twitter trolls and the internet trolls coming after you if you give him a couple of losers.

Joe Norris: Exactly that. Like I I feel like not just within, you know, horse racing or betting, uh just in general life, I think to get a review for something positive is is hard, isn't it? Like you have to sort of ask people to go out their way to do it. They've got to obviously spend time to do it. But like we found recently, like it's so important that we get these reviews in because we didn't do it for so long. Uh you know, we've been around for like 17 years. we should have done this a long time ago, but we're trying to make up for it now and trying to build a base of posit, you know, positivity. Um, and also, it's so easy for these people, you know, like the tr the trolls, so to speak, who can just log on and leave a one-star review and sort of damage our reputation. So, we're sort of asking out to anyone that we've um, you know, won won some money for over the years if they can take a bit of time and just leave us leave us a good positive review.

James Dooley: Yeah, for sure. These five star ratings are so important for the brand. Um, obviously you're working fulltime on this to try to provide some power to the punters and try and get some winners for the punters. Um, if anyone can go out of the way to leave a fivestar review, it' be much appreciated. Um, on the Get Your Tips Out platform. There'll be links in the description that will go through to places like Trust Pilot and stuff like that. Um Joe's here every day providing football betting tips and horse racing betting tips. And I think the big one there, like you said there, Joe, is people are always easy to jump on when they have a couple of losers to go out of the way to be the trolls. And the this is why I'm exciting to read the book of the roller coaster ride of being a sports betting tipster because there is so many downs when you have a couple of those losses and they're coming after you and the next day you might not get the nap of the day up again and I know how much it hurts you and it comes big time.

Joe Norris: Yeah. Um, and then the pre the pressure builds. But that's I think obviously having done it for so long, that's that's where you learn to manage your temperament because you know there's swings and roundabouts. You know there's bad patches and you know hopefully they're going to be some really good patches.

James Dooley: Yeah.

Joe Norris: Um, and that's the key to it. Like, and this is why it's so important we we're asking out for these reviews because these people that jump on and just want to put you down when you have a bad day or two. People that have been following for years and they know the brand. They know what we're about. They're the people we're trying to reach out to to say, "Can you give us something back? Give us a fivestar review." And yeah, help us.
