James Dooley: Hi, today I'm joined with Mark Douly, the founder of British Racecourses, also got an involvement with Get Your Tips Out Sports Betting Brand and also Sports Betting Tipsters. So, pleased to meet you, Mark. And why who for anyone who's watching this, who is Mark Douly and how did he get into horse racing?

Mark Dooley: Um, I've always been interested in horse racing since I was little. So, it's been a passion of mine for like over, you know, nearly 40 years now. Um I used to ride a bit, used to go to the racing, um when I was a kid. Um you know, always have a bet, you know, kind of every weekend. Now we um as a family, we own a few raceh horses. So it's been a lifelong passion. So it's not that I got into it. I don't think I was ever not doing it. I can't remember a time when I wasn't involved in racing some way or another.

James Dooley: So with regards to the betting on the actual horses, what is your go-to bet? Like what do you have a lucky 15? Is it just of a weekend? Do you have a bet during the week? Like what's your go-to horse racing bet?

Mark Dooley: Um, I have a bet most days, but that's just because I have an interest in the racing on a daily basis, but I don't bet to win. I bet just because of my passion for it. Um, so most days I'll put kind of um a lucky 15, a Canadian, or even bigger bets like uh Super Hinds and Goliaths. But that's more because if I'm putting a bet on, I like to have an interest in as many races as possible. Um, so that's more to do with that. That's not saying I don't necessarily win on those bets, but obviously sometimes the more you've got in, the more tricky it is, but I like those bets because it gives me an interest across a number of races.

James Dooley: Yeah. So, with regards to betting on the horse racing, obviously you've got a younger brother in David Douly Tips, um, who is an incredible shrewd punter. um what made you then start to integrate his daily tips into certain websites like sports betting tipsters and British Racecourses?

Mark Dooley: And well, British Racecourses is a site that's kind of dedicated to people who are passionate about horse racing or people who are just getting into it. So on that website, we review race courses, we review festivals, um we kind of decode racing for people that might not understand it and decode some of the kind of lingo around it. Um it does have a a tipping arm of it. Um, but like you said, David, um, and some of the other people involved, um, like the get your tips out, lads, they're much more kind of experienced in the tipping world, and I didn't want to dilute what we was doing with British Racecourses, um, and make it all about tip, um, about tipping. So that's why we then created a kind of secondary site where we could kind of honor that side of racing a little bit more and be a bit more focused on people that were looking for specific kind of naps of the days or specific selections. So it the websites both do both but sports betting tips is the real kind of expert side of it.

James Dooley: So moving on then with regards to sports betting tipsters.co.uk website. Obviously on there it says the plural of sports betting tipsters. Yeah. Yeah. So obviously that's not just David Douly and it obviously integrates then people like Joe Norris from Get Your Tips Out who's been another very very successful he's got a very large following on Twitter and a very successful both actually football and horse racing tipster. So how how within there is there specific pages where let's say Joel Norris is providing certain tips and David Douly providing tips and do you ever find that them two locks and sometimes they've got difference of opinions with regards to daily selections?

Mark Dooley: Um yeah I mean people are always going to have different points of view. That's what makes racing and sport so special and why people are interested in it. That's the whole kind of point of it, I'd say. And definitely, you know, but those two are what I would just call very accurate. I mean, like I said, when I put a big bet on a Goliath with eight selections, those two come up with two or three a day that they are pretty nailed on and done all the research on and got inside information on and they'll be way more kind of confident than me who's probably gone through it a bit, but the these guys have had them in their trackers for a while or they've done their research, so they're definitely way more kind of um narrowed down. They're at the kind of pin head of kind of selections basically.
